The CU is not a church so settling into a local church is essential for fellowship with people of all ages – older and wiser Christians can provide an invaluable source of prayer and advice – and of course an opportunity to grow spiritually, by learning more and getting plugged in to activities.
Below is a list of some of the churches in the local area. A good idea would be to pick a few that you’d like to visit. Seek others’ recommendations, and be prepared to try somewhere a bit different from your home church. Go and visit, and then pray about it.
As you can see, there are churches in both Coventry and Leamington. Of course the most important thing is to find a church you like, but travel options may play a role in your decision. It helps to go to a church in the same place that you’re living; so many students that go on to live in Leamington will seek a church there in their first year, in anticipation of staying there in their second year.
