Welcome, Fresher! We hope you have time for a good nose around the site, and find plenty of helpful things. There's loads of content here just for you, so do make good use of it!
For starters, head over to the Freshers Week page to see the action packed fortnight of events we're putting on! There are quizzes, lunches, dinners, talks, barbecues, and MORE :D
Then take a peek through some useful advice, courtesy of some current CU members. Many would advise you to join your halls' 5:20 group, and they would certainly be right to do so. 5:20 groups are our way of making great friendships with other Christians in our halls, and are a great place to find that extra bit of support when you're struggling with something. 5:20s don't meet until week 2 though, and what if you need some critical advice about uni, life, your course, or something equally desperate??
Struggling or not, we love to pair up new students with current students. Sign up to Freshlinks to get your very own buddy, who even studies the same course as you!
We've gone all out to get you everything you need, so finally do peruse some local churches that we've collated for your viewing pleasure and convenience. There are so many around, we couldn't possibly list them all, so try coming to some events in the first two weeks and having a chat with some CU members who will be glad to share some personal wisdom with you. Of course, there's the official Church Search on Sunday, Week 2 to help you find somewhere to start off.
