CU isn't church but the missionary arm of the local churches on campus. So, settling into a local church is essential.
Being part of a church means fellowship with people of all ages, prayer and advice from older and wiser Christians and being nourished by God's Word plus maybe even being nourished physically too...
Here is a list of some of the Churches in the local area. Do take the time to visit them. A good idea would be to pick out about 3 that you'd like to visit. Take a look, then go and pray about it.
You might not know whether you want to church in Coventry or Leamington, the truth is that there are advantages either way! It helps to go to a church in the same place that you're living; so many students that go to live in Leamington will go to a church there. Some will seek a church in Leamington in first year, in anticipation of staying in the same church into second year. Others will simply find a church they like, and will travel as necessary to get there.
Really, it's just up to you! Pick out a handful of churches, seek others' recommendations, and be prepared to try somewhere a bit different from your home church.
We've broken the churches down into>Coventry< and >Leamington<, purely for editorial convenience. Go have a look!
