The international team is one of the largest in the CU, and never has a quiet moment. If you have a passion for international students, and fancy helping with one of our many teams, please contact Sam
Globe Cafe
We'll always need an extra hand here, because lots of international students come! As a team, we help and support in each other in our ministry, starting off with a prayer meeting at 4pm to set our hearts right with God, before starting on the preparation and at 5pm, the centre of the action. Globe is primarily a place of getting to know new international students and at later stages, to bring your relationship with these new friends, outside of Globe Cafe. And subsequently, to either do a one-to-one bible study, or bring them to the International Bible Study.

International Bible Study
A safe environment is created here that allows international students to read and learn more about the bible. You don't have to be super intelligent or a super bible geek to be in this.....you simply need a heart for salvation for others. This is a more intimate place to demonstrate God's love to international students who are exploring and some seeking for answers. Sometimes, the answers are in our lives, the way we love others, that will reinforce the Word of God. Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control - this will be more apparent as relationships are more intentional.

Followup
Followup is essential for seekers, new believers and returnees. The primary role of this team is to support Christians who are following up with international students on a one-to-one basis, in the 3 different stages mentioned before, in the UK and outside. In addition to this role is providing support for effective ministry for individual Christians and international team events. Support will come in the form of resources, training, information for hospitality and external contacts with churches and external organisations.
For more information, please contact Candice at returnees@warwickcu.org
International Events
The team is responsible for organising international events that happen on a yearly basis. This could include the International Orientation, Mission Week, internal talks, societal talks and cultural talks. They are also responsible for gathering information for external conferences that happen elsewhere in UK and helping CU members in organising trips out.
For more information, please contact Rachel at international.events@warwickcu.org
Fellowship Groups
A huge part of our international team vision is also to unite different fellowship groups as one body of Christ. One step in the right direction is sharing prayer points and organising our termly event, As One. The team helps to organise As One, but the vision is to merge with International Events in the future in order to serve our brothers and sisters in different fellowship groups.

Missions
Every Christian is a missionary, be it in your workplace, in university or overseas. The missions team hopes to give every Christian in CU an opportunity to discover their missionary self by organising talks, fairs and mission trips abroad. The mission team also connects our CU with other student groups in other parts of the world for prayer and support and possibly, an opportunity to serve in their community with fellow brothers and sisters from abroad.

Christians in Volunteering
A new team that has been recently set up in the 2011 academic year. This group aims to support fellow Christians in the volunteering field. We have been called to a testimony to others and volunteering can be one big part of showing God's love to the local community. In the long run, it is hoped that the team would encourage fellow Christians to participate in volunteering by organising one-off volunteering projects for the CU and fellowship groups.

Erasmus
Focussing on Erasmus students, the team not only hopes to support Erasmus Christian students going abroad, but also to welcome incoming Erasmus students to Warwick. This support could come simply in the form of a facebook message to a travel guide to that of a get-to-know dinner to share experiences from people who have gone through the Erasmus programme. If you have a heart for supporting a local Christian in a foreign land, this is the team to join!
